ALBUM & SINGLE ARTWORK + TAPE DESIGN

Plush Planet is the debut LP of bedroom pop, space rock musician, Astro Nick. I composed, photographed, and designed the cover art for each single, as well as the album itself. Additionally, I created the cover for the cassette tape release of the album. The backdrop doodles depict landscapes that are both mesmerizing and imposing. The toys are far-out and playful, yet have a rougher, weathered nature to them. The lettering is intentionally sketch like, and unrefined. All of these elements works in tandem with one another to exemplify the sounds and themes of Plush Planet. Astro Nick creates a listening experience that reflects on the ups and downs this world has to offer, facing it with childlike wonder and raw emotion.
